Device Arrives In Pieces
There will be an automatic $30.00 technician service fee to diagnose any unit that is received disassembled. Units in this condition often take twice as much time or longer to completely diagnose each part separately and then reassemble. This fee will be applied to any services that you end up authorizing for. If service is declined, the $30.00 fee will stand.
Return Policy
Self Install Parts - Parts for self install are non-refundable/non-returnable.
Please make sure the part you order is for the correct model before
purchasing. If part does not fix your problem, you can send your device in
to Podimus to properly diagnose the problem. You can contact us at
info@podimus.com for an RMA return request.
*Be aware that we particularly watch for attempts at substitution of parts.
We keep all serial #'s, and part #'s on file your customer file.
Re-Stocking Fee
Podimus has a 15% re-stocking fee on ALL merchandise returned. This fee does not include shipping fees which are at the customers expense. The customer will pay any fees associated with credit card chargebacks
as well.
Warranty
Every repair comes with a 180 day warranty on the part repaired only and 180 days on all self-installed parts. This warranty DOES NOT cover drops, water damage, etc; this only covers faulty defective parts.
For all RMA return requests, shipping fees are taken care of by the customer.
* If you receive your repaired device back, and it still has issues related to our repairs, we will cover the cost of shipping it back into us (up to $5) ONLY if we are notified within 48 hrs of customer receipt (within 48 hrs of receiving your device back).
Abandonment Policy
With lack of space due to high volume of iPods/Mp3 devices coming in, Podiums cannot hold onto your device forever. When you send in your device, you agree to keep in frequent contact with Podimus until your order has been completed and your device returned. If this does not happen, and Podimus is unable to get in touch with you or you refuse to pay for your repair, you have 120 days from the time your iPod/Mp3 device arrives to resolve and close your order or your device will be considered ABANDONED and irreversibly disposed of and recycled.
Declined Repairs
If you choose to decline a repair after previously authorizing and the repair has been made, you will be charged a technician fee to reverse the repair of $25.00.
All other declined repairs will be shipped back first class mail, at a fee of 5.00 dollars.
Data/Music Loss
Podimus will make every attempt to keep your data and music on your device. However, there are certain repairs that require us to wipe your device. By sending you device to us, you authorize us to wipe your device if necessary. Podimus will not be liable for lost music, data, pictures, contact lists, etc. We recommend you back up all data and music before sending in your device.
Shipping Policy
Tracking Number – Customers will receive a confirmation email when their package ships out with their tracking number. If you do not receive this email, please contact us if you need tracking information on your order.
Lost/Stolen Packages – Podimus is NOT responsible for any lost or stolen packages. You must contact the shipping company and file a claim to receive compensation. You may request to have insurance added to your package for an extra fee of $3.00.
VAT and Import Taxes – The customer will be responsible for all import taxes/fees/duties. This means that when Podimus is billed for import taxes, you will be held responsible for these charges and also agree that Rapid Repair may bill any credit card you have provided for these charges, unless alternate payment is arranged.
Price Change
At Podimus, we try to keep our prices competitive. This means prices can go down from prices you were originally quoted on a repair. If your iPod is still in our possession when prices drop, you can call in to get the new price adjustment before you have been billed. Once your payment has gone through, you are no longer eligible for the new price cut.
Information Sharing and Disclosure
At Podimus, we DO NOT share any of your personal information.
